(1) The Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan shall be the Chancellor of the University. (2) The Chancellor shall appoint the Vice-Chancellor of the University in accordance with the procedure prescribed in the Statutes of the University in this regard. (6) Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing provisions persons nominated under category (v) of section 7 shall remain member of the Executive Council permanently.
