President etc. of Gram Sabha to be public servants

The President of the Gram Sabha and the members of the Executive Committee constituted under this Act, and the officers and servants of the Gram Sabha shall be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act 45 of 1860).
