Establishment and Incorporation of board

1. (1) The State Government may, by notification, establish for the

purposes of carrying out the provision of this Act a Board to be

called “the Punjab Water Supply and Sewerage Board” and such Board shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire, hold or dispose of property, both movable and immovable and shall, by the said name, sue and be sued, Es tablishm ent incorporation and headquarters of Board

1. (2) The Board shall have its headquarters at Patiala or at such

other place as may be notified by the Government from time to

time.
