Certificate required of candidates for examination

Save on the recommendation of the Syndicate by special order of the Senate, and subject to any regulation made in this behalf, no person shall be admitted as a candidate at any University examination other than those for diplomas in Modern Indian Languages and Oriental Titles unless he produces a certificate from a college affiliated to the University, to the effect that he has completed the course of instruction prescribed by regulation.
