Statutory text
- (1) On receipt of an application under section 8, the Collector shall proceed to procure the temporary occupation of the land for the period specified in the application under and in accordance with the provisions of Part VI of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894.
- (2) The Collector shall then authorise the Director or other person acting under his general or special order to enter upon and take possession of the land and the Land Reclamation Officer shall thereafter undertake the proper execution of the reclamation scheme.
