The Registrar

(1) The Registrar shall be appointed by the Chancellor from amongst the panel of three persons recommended by the Governing Body. (2) No person shall be appointed as Registrar, unless he possesses such qualifications as are specified by the MCI, INC and any other regulatory bodies concerning medical education. (3) The Registrar shall sign all contracts and authenticate all documents or records for and on behalf of the University. (4) The Registrar shall be the Member-Secretary of the Governing Body, the Board of Management and the Academic Council but he shall not have the right to vote.
