Form of notice for Enhancement of rent

[See sub-section (1) of Section 10] From To Notice for enhancement of rentfor improvements, under section 10 of the Punjab Rent Act, 1995. Whereas I have incurred expenses on additions/improvements/structural alterations in the premises with/without your approval, before/after the commencement of the Punjab Rent Act, 1995, which is not an expenditure on decoration or tenantable repairs and which expenditure has not been taken into account for determining the rent of premises. As such I in exercise of the right given under section 9 of the Act, increase the rent to the extent of Rs.____________________________per year, which does not exceed ten per cent of the expenditure.
