Nomination Paper
The Punjab Municipal Election Rules, 1994(1) Every nomination paper presented under section 38 of the Act shall be in Form 20 and shall be presented to the Returning Officer by the candidate himself or his proposer during the hours of eleven O'clock of the forenoon and three O'clock of the afternoon or such other hours as may be fixed for this purpose on date/dates and places fixed for filing the nomination paper. (2) The nomination paper of a member scheduled castes or backward classes shall be accompanied by a declaration by the candidate indicating the scheduled caste or backward class to which he belongs, (3) The nomination paper of a candidate for a constituency reserved for scheduled castes or backward classes, shall be accompanied by a certificate issued by the Deputy Commissioner or the Sub Divisional Officer (Civil) of the area of which the candidate is ordinarily resident certifying that
