Salary and allowances, etc., of the Deputy Speaker.

(1) The Deputy Speaker shall be paid a salary of eight thousand rupees per mensem. (2) The Deputy Speaker shall also be paid,– (a) compensatory allowance of ten thousand rupees per mensem; (b) contingency allowance of three thousand and five hundred rupees per mensem; and (c) constituency allowance of five thousand rupees per mensem. (3) The Deputy Speaker shall also be entitled to receive allowance for each day during the whole of his term of office at the rate of rupees five hundred.
