Amendment to Section 12

In the principal Act,in Section 12, in sub-section (2),─

1. (i) for clause (a), the following clause shall be substituted, namely:─ “(a) to advice the syndicate on all academic matter including system of imparting education through any means of communication such as seminars, broadcasting, telecasting, internet, correspondence courses, contact programs or the combination of any two or more such means;” and
2. (ii) after clause (k), the following clause shall be inserted, namely:─ “(l) to recommend to the syndicate for acquiring NAAC, NBA, NIRF ranking or any other ranking by the University and its constituent colleges and affiliated colleges.”
