Incidents of Office

(1) The Office of the members of the Grama Panchayat shall be honorary. (2) The members of the Grama Panchayat including the Sarpanch and Naib-Sarpanch shall be paid such sitting fee for every meeting they attend and such travelling and daily allowances as the State Government may, by notification, determine and all such fees and allowances shall be paid from out of the Grama Fund.
