Cessation of Council Membership

A nominated or elected member of the. Council shall be deemed to have vacated his or her seat, if: 1) He or She is absent without sufficient ground in the opinion of the council of three consecutive meetings of the Council; and 2) He or She is absent out of India for a period exceeding six months.
