Conveyance and conveyance allowances for Ministers

(1) The State Government may, from time to time, purchase and provide suitable conveyances for the use of every Minister and may by rule provide for their maintenance and repair. (2) The Chief Minister, every Minister, Minister of State and Deputy Minister shall further be entitled to a conveyance allowance of rupees two hundred and fifty per mensem and every Parliamentary Secretary shall be entitled to a conveyance allowance of rupees two hundred only per mensem : Provided that if any person so entitled hereinbefore chooses to maintain his own car such person shall be entitled to a conveyance allowance of rupees three hundred per mensem.
