Resignation
The Nagaland Medical Council Act, 2014(a) The Registrar may resign his office by giving three months notice in writing to that effect to the President and such resignation shall take effect fmm the date of acceptance of such resignation by the council. If he leaves his office without giving any notice as aforesaid, he shall be liable to deposit an equivalent to total emoluments payable in lieu of such notice. (b) Any other employee of the Council may resign his office by giving one month notice in writing to that effect to the Registrar if he is temporary, and three months notice if he is permanent and such resignation shall take effect fmm the date of acceptance thereof. In the case of failure to give required notice, the employee shall be liable to deposit an amount equivalent to total emoluments payable in lieu of notice period.
