Resolutions made in such meetings shall be properly recorded and shall be signed both by the President and the Secretary”.

Amendment of Section 16.

In sub-section (2) of section 16 of the Principal Act, theword “ Deputy Commissioner” shall be substituted by “the State Government”

After sub-section 4 of Section 16 of the Principal Act, the following new sub-sections (5) and

1. (6) shall be added as follows namely:- “(5) The President shall be responsible to pass on the letters received by him to the Village Council Secretary for records.
2. (6) Heshall fully relinquish Village Council chargeand hand over Village Coundil records, documents, properties and assets including Village Council seal to the new Village Council President as the case may be’.
