The following Act of the Mizoram Legislative Assembly which received the assent of the Governor is hereby published for general information. The Mizoram Act No. 15 of 1991. The Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker (Amendment) Act, 1991. (Received the assent of the Governor of Mizoram on the 23.4.1991.) AN ACT further to amend the salaries and allowances of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Mizoram. Be it enacted by t he Legisla tive Assembly of the State of t he Mizor am in the For ty Seco nd year of t he Republic o f India , as follo ws : 1.(1)This Act may be called by the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker (Amendment) Act, 1991. (2)It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the First of April. 1991. 2.In the Mizoram Salaries and Allowances of the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker Act, 1987 (Act No. 4 of 1987), as amended (hereinafter refferred to as the principal Act) in section 3, for the words “the Speaker, a salary of two thousand five hundred rupees per mensem and the Deputy Speaker a salary of two thousand rupees per mensem,” “the words” the Speaker, a salary of two thousand seven hundred fifty rupees per mensem and to the Deputy Speaker a salary of two thousand two hundred and fifty rupees per mensem” shall be substituted.
