Maintenance of Records and inspection

(1) Every occupier of the factory shall maintain such records as are prescribed or as required by the Oil Palm Commissioner with the approval of the Government. (2) An Oil Palm Inspector may at any time inspect a factory and verify such records, reports, statements and registers as may be required to be maintained in connection with due implementation of the provisions of this Act and may also direct the occupier of a factory to produce them for his verification. (3) The powers under sub-section (2) may be exercised by any Officer authorized in this behalf by the Oil Palm Commissioner by a general or specific order.
