Power to appoint new members

The State Government may appoint a new member, when a member—

1. (a) resigns or dies;
2. (b) is for a continuous period of six months absent from India, without obtaining leave from the Committee;
3. (c) leaves India for the purpose of residing abroad;
4. (d) desires to be discharged;
5. (e) refuses to act;
6. (f) is removed or his membership is terminated by the State Government.
