Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of a period of two years from the appointed day.

Repeal and saving

1. (1) Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) Ordinance, 1980 is hereby repealed.
2. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken (including any rule, regulation, notification or order issued or any appointment made) under the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken issued or made, as the case may be, under the corresponding provisions of this Act. 2008-1. Short title (Amendment Act, 2008) This Act may be called Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) (Amendment) Act, 2008. 2008-2. Amendment of section 7 of Mah. VI of 1981 (Amendment Act, 2008) In section 7 of Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) Act, 1980, to sub-section (1), the following proviso shall be added, namely :— “ Provided that, the term of office of such outgoing members shall be deemed to extend to, and expire with, the date on which the notification constituting the new Committee is published in the Official Gazette.” 2024-1. Short title and commencement (Amendment Act, 2025)
3. (1) This Act may be called the Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) (Amendment) Act, 2024.
4. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 15th October 2024. 2024-2. Amendment of section 5 of Mah. VI of 1981 (Amendment Act, 2025) In section 5 of Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) Act, 1980 (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Act”), for sub-section (3), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely :— “
5. (3) The State Government shall, by notification published in the Official Gazette, appoint a Chairman, a treasurer and not more than fifteen other members to form the Committee.”. 2024-3. Amendment of section 7 of Mah. VI of 1981 (Amendment Act, 2025) In section 7 of the principal Act, in sub-section (1), for the words “three years” the words “five years” shall be substituted. 2024-4. Removal of doubt (Amendment Act, 2025) For removal of doubt, it is hereby declared that the amendment made, with respect to increase the term of office of members of the Committee, by Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) (Amendment) Act, 2024, shall be applicable to all the members, including Chairman and treasurer, appointed before the commencement of the said Act. 2024-5. Repeal of Mah. Ord. XV of 2024 and saving (Amendment Act, 2025)
6. (1) Shree Siddhi Vinayak Ganpati Temple Trust (Prabhadevi) (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024, is hereby repealed.
7. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken (including any notification or order issued) under the corresponding provisions of the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done, taken or, issued as the case may be, under the corresponding provisions of the principal Act, as amended by this Act.
