The Maharashtra Sales Tax Act, 1979(See sections 8, 18 and 20) Goods, other than declared goods, the sale or purchase of which is subject to sales tax or purchase tax and the rates of tax Note.—In this Schedule, where in any entry, the expression "sold at a price" is used, it shall, for the purposes of determining the rate of tax applicable to any goods covered by that entry, mean the sale price of the goods excluding the amount of tax, if such tax is separately charged.
