Objects of University

The University shall have the following objects, namely :—

1. (a) to impart education in different branches of Veterinary and Fisheries and allied sciences as the University may determine;
2. (b) to provide for the advancement of learning and prosecution of research in Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences; and (c) to undertake the extension of such sciences to the rural people in co-operation with the Government Departments concerned.
