Establishment of University

Statutory text
- (1) For the development of veterinary, animal sciences and fisheries and for furthering the advancement of learning and prosecution of reasearch in the veterinary and fisheries sciences, on and from the appointed day, there shall be established a University by the name of the Madhya Pradesh Veterinary Sciences University.
- (2) The University shall be a body corporate, shall have perpetual succession and a common seal and shall sue and be sued by the said name.
- (3) The headquarters of the University shall be at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh.
