Term of office and filling of casual vacancy, etc

[To be provided from full text] (1) * * * * (2) * * * * (3) * * * * (4) The term of office of the nominated members shall be three years from the date of the notification regarding nomination under sub-section (2) of Section 4: Provided that the term of members nominated under sub-clause (v) of clause (k) shall coterminus with the Legislative Assembly. (5) * * * * (6) If the State Government considers that the continuance in office of any nominated member is not in the public interest, the State Government may make an order terminating his nomination and thereupon he shall cease to be a member of the Board notwithstanding that the term for which he was nominated has not expired.
