  1. (1) This Act may be called "The Madhya Pradesh Goshala Act, 1953".
  2. (2) It extends to the whole of Madhya Pradesh.
  3. (3) It shall be in force in all such areas of Madhya Pradesh in which it was in force immediately before the commencement of the Madhya Pradesh Extension of Laws Act, 1958 (23 of 1958) and shall come into force in any other areas on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint and different dates may be appointed for different areas.
