Substitution of new section for section

For section 5 of the principal Regulation, the following section shall be substituted, namely:— “5.

1. (1) Every public authority shall, within two months of the notification issued under section 4, publish the names and addresses of Designated Officers responsible for rendering of public services notified therein.
2. (2) It shall be the duty of the Designated Officer to provide public services to an eligible person within the time limit as specified in the notification issued under section 4, failing which, it would be deemed to have been registered as an appeal before the Grievance Redressal Officer.”.
