The Calicut University Act, 1975
The Calicut University Act, 1975 reorganizes and governs the University of Calicut as a teaching, residential, and affiliating university for specified northern districts of Kerala. It regulates university administrative bodies, academic standards, examination procedures, financial management, and the affiliation of public, private, and unaided colleges. The law applies to university officers, faculty, non-teaching staff, students, and affiliated educational institutions across Cannanore, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palghat, and Trichur districts.
