Infrastructure199355 sections
This Act establishes industrial areas and growth centres in Kerala to support industrial development. It sets up the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation to build factories and provide necessary infrastructure like roads, water, and electricity. The government can declare specific areas as industrial zones where industries can be accommodated. By creating these dedicated spaces and facilities, the law aims to attract and support businesses, making it easier for industries to operate and grow within the state. It matters because it provides the physical foundation and organized environment required for economic progress and job creation in Kerala.
