Insertion of new section 70A

Insertion of new section 70A. - In the Kerala Chitties Act, 1975 (23 of 1975) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), after section 70, the following section shall be inserted, namely: - “70 A. Power to exempt. - The Government may, by notification in the Gazette and for reasons to be specified in such notification, exempt any company owned by the Government of Kerala or any co-operative society registered or deemed to be registered under the Kerala Co-operative societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), from all or any of the provisions of this Act.”.
