Removal of disqualification

Statutory text
(1) No person shall be disqualified for being chosen as, and for being, a member of the Legislative Assembly solely on the reason that he holds an office of profit under the Board. (2) The Board shall be deemed to be a local authority for the purposes of the Kerala State Legislature (Prevention of Disqualification) Act.
