Chapter III OFFICERS OF THE UNIVERSITY

(1) The Governor of Karnataka shall by virtue of his office be the Chancellor of the University. (2) The Chancellor shall be the Head of the University and shall, when present, preside at any convocation of the University. (3) No honorary degree shall be conferred by the University upon any person without the approval of the Chancellor. (4) The Chancellor shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred upon him by or under this Act or the
