2[(1) The State Government shall appoint an officer from the cadre of Group-A Senior scale Officer of the Endowment Department as the Secretary of the Authority and a Group 'B' Officer of the Endowment Department as the Deputy Secretary of the Authority.] ]

- (2) The Secretary 1[and other officers] shall receive such salary and other allowances as the State Government may, from time to time, determine.
