Definitions.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,—

1. (a) “Council” or “Medical Council” means the 1[Karnataka Medical Council] established under this Act; 1. Adapted by the Karnataka Adaptations of Laws Order 1973 w.e.f. 1.11.1973
2. (b) “notification” means a notification published in the official Gazette;
3. (c) “registered practitioner” means any person registered under the provisions of this Act;
4. (d) “regulations” means regulations made under section 32;
5. (e) “rules” means rules made under section 31.
