Participation of members in the management

Every member of a cooperative society shall participate in the management of the society,- (a) by attending three out of the last five annual general meetings; (b) by utilizing every year such minimum services or facilities offered by the society as may be specified in the byelaws. Provided that if a member fails to utilize the minimum services or fails to attend the minimum meetings, he shall lose his right to vote, for a period of three years.
