This Act governs grants by the Jharkhand Government to unaided educational institutions. It sets out which institutions are eligible, the conditions and procedure for grants, how recurring and non-recurring grants are decided, and when grants can be stopped, reduced or suspended, with a right of appeal. Aided institutions must keep audited accounts, allow inspection and get prior approval before transferring property.
