Fire safety officers to undergo training. — Fire Safety Officers shall undergo training at the Fire Safety Management Institute or any other Institute as the Government may specify or prescribe for this purpose. Provided that a person who has already undergone such training at the National Fire Service College, Nagpur or at any other equivalent institution recognized by the Government, shall not be required to undergo such training. .
