Removal of the Chairman and the members

Removal of the Chairman and the members.-(1) The Government may remove the Chairman or Vice-Chairman of a Committee or any member thereof, if he-

1. (a) is or becomes subject to any disqualification specified in section 11; or
2. (b) fails without excuse, to attend three consecutive meetings of the Tehsil Committee; or
3. (c) refuses to act or is incapable of acting or acts in a manner which the Government, after hearing any explanation that he may offer, considers to be prejudicial to the interests of the Wakaf.

1. (2) Where, the Chairman of the Tehsil Committee is removed under sub-section
2. (1) he shall also cease to be a member of that Committee.
