De-recognition of schools.--
- (1) The Government may de-recognise any private school, if in its opinion the functioning of the school is not in the public interest and that the school is violating any of the provisions of this Act and the rules made thereunder.
- (2) Any transaction made in contravention of sub-section
- (1) competent authority shall give due notice to the Manager and the Educational Agency concerned to show cause against the proposed de-recognition.
