Short title, extent and commencement

Short title, extent and commencement.--(1) This Act may be called the Cattle Trespass Act, 1977.

1. (2) It extends to the whole State, except such towns or local areas as the Government by notification in the Jammu and Kashmir Government Gazette, may from time to time exclude from its operation.
2. (3) It shall come into force on the 1st day of Baisakh, 1978.
