Presumption regarding entries in the records of rights and annual records.-Subject to the provisions of sections 18 and 19, every entry in the record of rights or annual record prepared or revised under the provisions of the Land Revenue Act, 1996, shall, unless the contrary is proved, be deemed to describe correctly the rights, title and interest of every proprietor in the land to which it relates : Provided that any modification, alteration or correction made in the record-of-rights or annual record, whether before or after the date of the commencement of this Act under the provisions of the Land Revenue Act, 1996, or as a consequence of any decree or order of any Court, shall be taken into account.
