Provided that no such order shall be made after the expiry of two years from the commencement of this Act.

Transitional provisions Transitional provisions.-Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act and the Statutes, the first Executive Council and the Academic Council shall be nominated by the Council and shall hold office for a term of three years : Provided that the Vice-Chancellors of the University of Kashmir and the University of Jammu shall be ex officio members of the Executive Council so nominated.
