Amendment of section 1

In section 1 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 (21 of 1860) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act) for the words "of Joint Stock Companies" the words "to be appointed by the State Government, by notification in the Official Gazette, for carrying out the purposes of the Act", shall be substituted.
