Power to make rules.
The Eternal University (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2008(1) The Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, make rules to carry out the provisions of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:— (a) matters to be prescribed under clause (d) of sub-section (4) of section 42; and (b) other matters which are required to be, or may be, prescribed by rules under this Act. (3) All rules made under this Act shall, as soon as possible after they are so made, be laid before the State Legislative Assembly, while it is in session, for a period of not less than ten days which may be comprised in one session or in two or more successive sessions and if, before the expiry of the session in which they are so laid or the successive sessions immediately following, the State Legislative Assembly makes any modification in any of such rules or agrees that any such rules should not be made, such rules shall thereafter have effect only in such modified form or be of no effect, as the case may be, so however that any such modification or annulment shall be without prejudice to the validity of anything previously done under them.
