Mounted Police

(1) There may be in each District, such number of Mounted Police, as may be determined from time to time by the State Government, for the purpose of patrols, crowd control and access to difficult areas. (2) The Director-General of Police shall issue standing orders with regard to procurement, management and maintenance of the remounts and for the training of the mounted police.
