Constitution of ad hoc committee

Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act and until such time as the authorities are duly constituted, the Vice-Chancellor may, subject to the prior approval of the Chancellor or of the Board after it has been constituted, appoint a committee temporarily to exercise, perform and discharge any of the powers, functions and duties of such authorities under this Act.
