Statutory text

(1) The State Govemment may, by notification, direct that any power exercisable by it under thrs Act except the power ko make rules under sections 5and 2 1 shall, in relation to such rnattcrs and subject ro such conditions, if any, as may be specified in the notification, be exercisable also by such officer or aurhority subordinate to the State Govemment as may be specified in the notification.
(2) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, the Chief Administrator may, with the approval of the State Govemment, by an order in writing, delegate any of his powers and functions under this ACL or thc rules made thereunder to such orher officer subordinate to him as may be specified in such order.
