Objects of University

Objects of University. - The objects of the University shall be to—

1. (i) establish the University as an institution of excellence for the studies, research and extension of teacher education;
2. (ii) provide for instructions in such branches of learning as the University may deem fit;
3. (iii) provide for research and for the advancement of and dissemination of knowledge in the field of teacher education;
4. (iv) undertake extra-mural studies, extension programmes and outreach activities to contribute to the societal development;
5. (v) do all such acts and things as may be necessary or desirable to further the objects of the University.
