Amendment of section 22 of Born. LXXIX of 1948. 9. To section 22 of the principal Act, the following proviso shall be added, namely :- " Provided that, the State Government may, on an application made in that behalf by the employees concerned, permit the reduction of the interval for rest to half an hour.".
