After the minutes are confirmed and signed by the Chairperson of the Board, they shall be recorded in the minute book which shall be kept open for inspection by the members of the Board.

Powers and duties of Board of Governors Subjects to the other provisions of this Act, the Board shall exercise the following powers and perform the following duties, namely:-

1. (i) to take policy decisions regarding planning, development, management and other related matters for good governance of the University and to issue directions for proper implementation of the same:
2. (ii) to institute Professorships, Associate Professorships, Assistant Professorships and other posts of teachers as may be required by the University;
3. (iii) to make, amend or repeal the Statutes;
4. (iv) to consider any proposal or issue raised by the Chairperson;
5. (v) to approve, cancel or refer back the Ordinances to the Executive Council but shall not amend the same;
6. (vi) to consider and pass resolutions on the annual reports, annual accounts and financial estimates;
7. (vii) to consider the annual financial estimates prepared by the Executive Council and pass resolutions with reference thereto:
8. (viii) to exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed upon it by or under this Act and all such other powers for achieving the objects of the University.
