Inquiries and proceedings to be judicial proceedings.

  1. (1) All inquiries and proceedings before any Mamlatdar or Collector under this Act shall be deemed to be judicial proceedings within the meaning of sections 193, 219 and 228 of the Indian Penal Code.
  2. (2) Every Mamlatdar and Collector acting under this Act shall be deemed to be a court for the purposes of section 195 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1898.
