In section 5 of the principal Act, for the words "two hundred and fifty rupees", the words "five hundred rupees" shall be substituted.

Amendment of section 6 of Guj. IV of 1960 Amendment of section 6 of Guj. IV of 1960. — In section 6 of the Gujarat Salaries and Allowances of Members and Speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly, Ministers and Leader of the Opposition Laws Act (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Act"), for the words "one thousand and five hundred rupees", the words "two thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
